After almost two decades working with real estate, mortgage and tech companies of all shapes and sizes, we saw a need for unique consumer and market research that could be used to drive marketing and strategic business moves. Plenty of economic and pricing research existed, but nothing around the consumer or agent experience. When it came to marketing and branding in real estate, it felt like most professionals and companies were either winging it or blindly following what others were doing.
We created 1000WATT Membership to infuse more research and insights into the business, and to create an active community of like-minded professionals who want to lead.
Co-Founder
Brian has been in real estate media, marketing and technology since 1997. Before Co-Founding 1000WATT, Brian served as President of Inman, real estate’s leading trade media company, and as CEO of VREO, where he created e-signature and document management software for tablet PCs. Brian has led dozens of companies through complex strategy and marketing challenges.

Marc attended Princeton, but got a record deal and left to go on tour with his band after his junior year. He ended up on Madison Avenue, at Young & Rubicam. From there he founded DGE entertainment, a full-service PR firm focused on the music industry. He got into the real estate industry in 1998.
Chief Copywriter
Jessica has been working in online real estate and digital media for over 20 years. She’s done marketing, content development and PR for rising startups both within and outside real estate. She got into the real estate industry in 2002 as a journalist, and went on to serve as managing editor and VP of content for Inman.
