A Piper Jaffray analyst estimates 500,000 iPhones sold this weekend. An analyst at Goldman Sachs pegs it closer to 700,000.

Soon millions will be accessing the web via a Safari browser on a device that seems to actually live up to its pre-release hype, completely untethered from their desktop.

REAL ESTATE CANNOT AFFORD TO WAIT YEARS TO UNDERSTAND THE RAMIFICATIONS OF THIS PRODUCT.

We are now officially in the future. If history repeats itself the iPhone stands to change the way we live and behave much the same way the iPod did when it was released back in 2001.

Mark my words, one day, people will be in their cycle class surfing homes for sale on their iPhone and texting their agent.  Or not. It’s up to you to create your future.

Starting today, brokers, make sure your development team makes every corner your web presence Safari compatible. From agent sites right up to the corporate site.

Consider building a Web 2.0 application for the iPhone platform.  Fold this innovation and service proposition into your marketing. Let the world know, let your consumer base know, that you’re right there with them
as innovation flourishes.

Hundreds of thousands of people did not wait in line for days, just to buy a new gadget. The waited for their ticket to tomorrow.
