I’ve had mobile on the mind for quite some time now. Maybe it’s because I can’t stop playing with my iPhone. But I don’t think alone.
Like many others I suspect, my phone has become the focal point for many of my online activities.
10 million strong and growing… don’t write off the small screen quite yet. I still think this movement is going to have a huge impact on real estate (see Mobile Real Estate can Thank the iPhone).
So in an effort to immerse myself in this market over the last few months, I’ve downloaded and installed dozens of real estate apps. And Brian recently wrote a great post where he reviewed a dozen or more apps (see 15 real estate related iPhone apps you need to check out). As a result, I’ve compiled a list of real estate related applications that are currently available in the iTunes store.
I figure I’d share with you that list.
If I’ve missed any, let me know. And if you’re a developer, brand or brokerage working on something cool – please add a note in the comments below or email me directly. I would love to hear what you’re working on.

I’ve haven’t forgotten about my friends with Android phones either – here’s a growing list of Android apps that focus on real estate.

- Coldwell Banker Real Estate
- idealista
- Puluwai Real Estate Search
- Qualify: Real Estate
- Real Estate Droid
- Suhweet Real Estate
- Smarter Agent
One thing that I’ve learned from all of these apps is that designing a good real estate app is not just about designing a good tool but about designing a great experience. But more on that later.
