Reflections on Realogy FWD

Real Estate Connect, the World’s Fair of real estate tech, happens next week in San Francisco. It looks like the Inman team has another great show teed up.
This Connect takes place at an interesting time. The industry has Zillow on the brain. Smart money is filling the pockets of entrepreneurs with an appetite for disruption. Brokerage consolidation is happening. MLS leaders chatter anxiously about pocket listings.
Things are a little edgy. That’s good.
1000WATT will be there, of course. You can catch us on stage a couple of times during the show:
9:00 a.m. Wednesday, opening general session: 24-hour brokerage website revamp
A leading brokerage has agreed to have us re-imagine their website during the show. We’ll take a brief look at the current site onstage, give it a quick critique, then hunker down and see what we can come up with in just one day. It’s going to be a late night in San Francisco for our team.
We’ll unveil the new site at the general session on Thursday at about 11:00 a.m.
2:30 p.m. Thursday: How to create, build and launch things people want
Marc will run a session that explores how some of the most creative people in real estate take products, services and experiences from idea to reality. He’ll be joined by Winston Wellborn of Hawaii Life Real Estate, Michelle Serro of Doorsteps/Move and Dan Woolley of W&R Studios.
This one’s going to be fun.
Hope to see you there.
